We are absolutely delighted to announce that one of our site builds, GradLink, has been shortlisted for this year’s Times Higher Awards, in the category ‘Outstanding Support for Students’. The Times Higher Awards are the most respected in the UK higher education calendar, and the nomination is particularly poignant this year as it acknowledges Gradlink’s support for international students globally during the pandemic. The Gradlink team have work hard throughout 2020 & 2021 to provide a host of Covid resources for students in the absence of being able to attend University. There are videos, tips and Q&A’s on everything from preparing for University to finding a job, succeeding at video interviews & using Linked In effectively.
ITQ Digital built Gradlink from scratch and we continue to support & develop the site, enhancing the digital opportunities that UWE provide for students. Gradlink showcases a superior design, with a modern responsive user journey and full intuitive mobile capability. It is a free site that enables students to create their CV via a bespoke CV building capability. They can then search and apply directly for jobs in their chosen country - the site currently includes sections for China, South-East Asia, the Gulf, Canada, Central and Eastern Europe, Africa and India. Businesses can advertise vacancies and search a database of students' and graduates' CVs via a unique portal for Employer job posts & search.
This is the third time GradLink has been shortlisted, having previously been a winner in 2015 for Outstanding International Student Strategy. We are eagerly awaiting the results on 25th November, and would like to wish David Gee & the team at UWE all the best for the ceremony.
Take a look at the site to learn more, or get in touch with us if you have any questions about how we might be able to help you with a similar project.
